Trip Down The Memory Lane
Hello Friends,
10 years ago, on this day, I put the foundation stone of a dream, an idea, that started from a coffee table. A group of very good friends contributed to the idea but it took a great courage and some sacrifice on my end to start this venture. I sacrificed a secure job and an opportunity to work in a different city with a higher package; and choose to pursue my dream! The uncertainties were high but I choose to fight the odds with a courage. I got strong moral support from my family and friends. But it’s the support of Rashmita (My Sister) and Dhiraj; that adds to my strength. Rashmita too sacrificed her secure job and joined me. Two years later Dhiraj too kick off his job to be part of our venture, officially!
Dhiraj find an office for us while Rashmita engaged in staffing solution. Initially, we don’t have any clients, except for a crowd source platform to work on. But slowly, we started getting clients; thanks to our own hard work.
Then we built up a team. Ashish, Rupali, Shweta and Sumit; ably supervised by Rashmita. I still remember, many times Rashmi and me spend sleepless nights working & meeting the client’s need and deadline. I can never thank enough Rashmi for her contribution. Slowly, we grew bigger. In 2013, Dhiraj joined and we registered our company! After some days, we took a bigger office and hired more employees.
Everything was going great and then Covid-19 hits India. We tried our best to maintain the office and the clients. But covid is not easy even on our clients! We started losing clients and soon we are forced to leave our workplace for good.
10 years passed by and I find myself standing again at the decision point. What should be my next course of action? Again I find nothing but a huge courage to stand and fight the odds! I am sure things will come back to normality sooner or later! Till then, we need to keep the hopes alive and work hard. Today is not my day; but tomorrow will be mine. With this hope, I sign off this later.
Thank you all for your support. Rashmi, Dhiraj, Ashish, Rupali, Shweta, Sumit, Rupesh, Anjali, Heena, Sangeeta, Rukshar, Vilas, Rakesh and all the employees and ex-employees of SFG or Infoledge. And I also should not forget to thank Ajay Sir, Deepak, Ashwini, Nandini, Ramya, Mamata, Tushar, Binamra, Surya, Amit, Vijay, Pinky, Suraj, Satish, Parag and everyone else who stand by us during all these days. Love you all for your unconditional support.
Stay Safe.
